Alessandra De Santis

Alessandra De Santis is an Italian writer and editor currently travelling through South America.
Throughout her whole life, she has developed a deep passion for the literary field, focusing both her
study and personal time on learning as much as she could through extensive reading. This led not
only to the election of Classical studies during high school, but also to applying to a Bachelor in
Languages, Cultures, Literatures, Translation and a Master’s degree in Publishing and Writing.

She fluently speaks:
- Italian.
- English.
- Portuguese.
- Spanish.

And has a good knowledge of:
- Russian.
- French.

Her work as assistant editor during her master’s internship allowed her to learn and put into practice
the rules of the publishing world, while developing her own writing skills and publishing cultural
journalism articles and short novels. She aims to pursue an academic career and become a professor and researcher in the fields of Comparative Literature and Gender Studies, for this reason she is preparing to apply to a PHD.
