Yanhan is an editor with a focus on Western Early Modern art. Born in 1997, in Mainland China, Yanhan pursued her higher education in the United States and the United Kingdom, earning her B.A. in Art History and Visual Culture from Bard College in New York and her M.A. in History of Art from the Courtauld Institute of Art in London. Her studies equipped her with a rich understanding of diverse research methods and perspectives, which she applies to practical, socially minded problem-solving.
In her professional life, Yanhan works as a freelance tour guide, sharing her expertise and passion for art with diverse audiences, while also serving as an editor and freelance translator in Mandarin and English. With experience creating web content across both languages, she is dedicated to enhancing communication through clear, engaging text and multimedia materials.
Yanhan’s experiences living and working across different cultures have deepened her interest in intercultural communication, and she is committed to making information accessible and engaging for varied audiences. Looking ahead, she aims to further her research in the art and culture sector by pursuing a PhD, ultimately merging her academic background with her practical insights.
